Ruscha at Gagosian
“Sometimes I wonder whether I am painting pictures of words or whether I’m painting pictures with words.” - Ed Ruscha
Post Hurricane Sandy, Gagosian Gallery is opening their West 24th Steet space with a show by American artist Ed Ruscha.
The Nebraska-born artist comments on myths of American Romanticism, commercial culture, and urban life in humorous and ironic pieces.
Don’t miss the opening reception for the artist on Saturday, November 17, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.!
